Princeton Dems back impeachment resolution The Princeton Community Democratic Organization voted 31-13 in support of a resolution of impeachment against President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, according to organization officials. The vote was taken after a panel discussion Sunday, which included David Lindorff, co-author of the book "The Case for Impeachment" with Barbara Olshanski. Lindorff offered several arguments for impeachment, alleging Bush claimed that he did not have to enforce laws passed by Congress in 1,200 signing statements, that Bush violated the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 and that Bush authorized torture. |
